「呪怨」シリーズの清水崇監督が、アイドルグループ「FRUITS ZIPPER」の鎮西寿々歌を主演に迎えた学園ホラー。 若者たちの間で密かに噂となっている、絶対にやってはいけない遊び。それは、学校の誰もいない階段の13段目でカセットテープに日付と名前を吹き込むと、その人は死ぬ、というものだった。軽い気持ちで「遊び」を実行した高校生たちの日常は歪みはじめ、カセットテープに名前を入れられた人物が相次いでその日付に謎の死を遂げる事件が発生。事態を重く見た学校は、心理カウンセラーの平瀬小春に生徒たちのメンタルケアを依頼する。小春は事件を目撃した生徒にカウンセリングを行うが、「遊び」を実行した者の中には小春の妹・菜々美もいた。生徒たちが1人また1人と怪異に襲われるなか、小春と菜々美も恐怖の連鎖へと引きずり込まれていく。 怪異に巻き込まれる心理カウンセラーの小春役で鎮西寿々歌が映画単独初主演にしてホラー作品に初挑戦し、小春の妹・菜々美役で「ゴールド・ボーイ」の星乃あんな、菜々美を気にかける同級生・千葉丈太郎役で「水は海に向かって流れる」の大西利空、物語の鍵を握る青年役で染谷将太が共演。

Directed by Takashi Shimizu of the "Ju-On" series, this school horror film stars Suzuka Chinzei of the idol group FRUITS ZIPPER in the lead role. A secret rumor circulates among young people about a forbidden game: if you record a date and name onto a cassette tape on the 13th step of an empty school staircase, that person will die. High school students casually try the game, and their daily lives begin to warp. One by one, those whose names were recorded on the tape die mysteriously on the specified dates. The school takes the situation seriously and asks psychological counselor Koharu Hirase to provide mental care for the students. Koharu counsels a student who witnessed the incidents, but among those who played the game is her younger sister, Nanami. As students are attacked by strange phenomena one after another, Koharu and Nanami are dragged into a chain of terror. Suzuka Chinzei takes on her first solo lead film role and first horror role as counselor Koharu; Anna Hoshino (from "Gold Boy") plays Koharu's sister Nanami; Riku Onishi (from "Water Flows Toward the Sea") plays classmate Jotaro Chiba who looks out for Nanami; and Shota Sometani plays a young man who holds the key to the story.
