「MONDAYS このタイムループ、上司に気づかせないと終わらない」で注目を集めた竹林亮監督が、透明人間の娘と一緒に東京へ旅に出た家族の奮闘を描いたSFドラマ。 とある島でひっそりと暮らす星野家の父と3人の娘たちには、少し変わった秘密があった。それは、末娘のひかりが、生まれつき透明人間であること。娘たちを朗らかに育てた母が他界した後、心配性の父・学は三姉妹を人目から隠すようにして暮らしてきた。そんなある日、東京に住む大女優の祖母・砂川エリ子が入院したという知らせが届く。家族はひかりが透明人間であることをエリ子に打ち明けられないまま東京へ向かって出発するが、その道中にはさまざまな危険や困難が待ち受けていた。 「初級演技レッスン」「ケンとカズ」などの毎熊克哉が父・学役で主演を務め、近藤華が長女・風子役、矢山花が次女・音々役、鈴木凛子が透明人間の三女・ひかり役、余貴美子が祖母・砂川エリ子役、寺島進がタクシー運転手・倉田誠一役で共演。アニメーション映画「超かぐや姫！」の脚本家・夏生さえりが竹林監督と共同で企画・脚本を手がけた。

An SF drama directed by Ryo Takebayashi (who gained attention for "MONDAYS: See You 'This' Week!"), depicting the struggles of a family who travels to Tokyo with their invisible daughter. The father and three daughters of the Hoshino family, living quietly on a certain island, share a slightly unusual secret: their youngest daughter, Hikari, is born invisible. After the mother, who raised the daughters cheerfully, passed away, the worrisome father, Manabu, has lived keeping the three sisters hidden from prying eyes. One day, news arrives that their grandmother, the great actress Eriko Sunagawa, who lives in Tokyo, has been hospitalized. The family heads to Tokyo without being able to tell Eriko that Hikari is invisible, but various dangers and difficulties await them along the way. Katsuya Maiguma (from "Shokyu Enshu Lesson" and "Ken to Kazu") stars as the father Manabu, with Hana Kondo as the eldest daughter Fuko, Hana Yayama as the second daughter Nene, Rinko Suzuki as the invisible third daughter Hikari, Kimiko Yo as grandmother Eriko Sunagawa, and Susumu Terajima as taxi driver Seiichi Kurata. Saeri Natsuo, screenwriter of the animated film "Super Kaguyahime," co-planned and co-wrote the script with director Takebayashi.
