汐見夏衛によるベストセラー小説を実写映画化し、現代から1945年にタイムスリップした女子高生と特攻隊員の切ない恋を描いた2023年の大ヒット作「あの花が咲く丘で、君とまた出会えたら。」の続編にして完結編。続編小説「あの星が降る丘で、君とまた出会いたい。」を原作に、愛する人を理不尽な形で失った後、現代で目を覚ました主人公・百合のその後を描く。 特攻隊員・彰との別れから7年。百合は彰の夢でもあった高校教師になり忙しい毎日を過ごしながらも、その心は1945年の百合が咲く丘に取り残されたままだった。そんな彼女の前に、彰の面影を感じさせる青年・涼が現れる。彼は臨時適任用教員として、百合のクラスの副担任になるという。自分をまっすぐに想ってくれる涼に揺れ動く百合だったが、彰を裏切るようで新たな恋に踏み出すことができない。葛藤のなかで百合が出会ったのは、ホスピスで穏やかな余生を過ごす年老いた千代だった。石丸を失った後、千代が歩んだもうひとつの愛の形。そして千代が百合に託したのは、出撃直前の彰が遺した、未来の百合へ送る1冊の本だった。 キャストには百合役の福原遥をはじめ、出口夏希、伊藤健太郎ら前作のメンバーが再結集。さらに、彰の面影を持つ青年・涼役で細田佳央太、現代の千代役で倍賞千恵子が出演。「366日」の新城毅彦が監督を務め、前作に引き続き福山雅治が主題歌を担当。

The sequel and conclusion to the 2023 blockbuster 'Till We Meet Again on the Lily Hill', a live-action adaptation of Shiomi Natsue's best-selling novel, which depicted the poignant love between a high school girl who time-travels from the present to 1945 and a kamikaze pilot. Based on the sequel novel 'I Want to Meet You Again on That Starry Hill', it follows the story of Yuri, the protagonist, after she wakes up in the present day, having lost her beloved in a senseless manner. Seven years have passed since her parting with Akira, the kamikaze pilot. Yuri has become a high school teacher, a dream of Akira's, and leads a busy life, but her heart remains left behind on that lily-covered hill in 1945. A young man named Ryo, who bears a resemblance to Akira, appears before her. He is a temporary teacher assigned as the deputy homeroom teacher for Yuri's class. Yuri is swayed by Ryo's straightforward affection, but she cannot bring herself to embrace a new love, feeling it would betray Akira. Amidst her inner conflict, Yuri meets Chiyo, an elderly woman spending her peaceful final days in a hospice. It's another form of love that Chiyo walked after losing Ishimaru. And what Chiyo entrusts to Yuri is a book left by Akira just before his sortie, addressed to the future Yuri. The cast reunites members from the previous film, including Fukuhara Haru as Yuri, Deguchi Natsuki, and Ito Kentaro. Additionally, Hosoda Kanata plays Ryo, the young man with Akira's likeness, and Baisho Chieko plays the elderly Chiyo. Directed by Niinobe Katsuhiko of '366 Days', with the theme song performed by Fukuyama Masaharu, continuing from the previous film.
