It depicts the son of a suspect in a supposedly solved murder case and the daughter of the victim joining forces to pursue the truth. The case of the murder of the good-hearted lawyer Shiraishi Kensuke by stabbing was supposed to have been resolved when Kuraki Tatsuro, who emerged as a suspect, confessed. However, Kuraki Kazuma, the suspect's son, and Shiraishi Mirei, the victim's daughter, both feel something is off about their fathers' words and actions. The two, who should never have met, join hands and begin pursuing the truth together. Matsumura plays Kuraki Kazuma, the suspect's son; Imada plays Shiraishi Mirei, the victim's daughter. Miura Tomokazu plays the suspect Kuraki Tatsuro, Nakamura Shikan plays the victim Shiraishi Kensuke, Emoto Tasuku plays Godai Tsutomu, a detective from the Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division, Maehara Ko plays Nakamachi, a local detective working with Godai, Fubuki Jun plays Asaba Yoko, the owner of a small restaurant who knows Kuraki Tatsuro well, Ikawa Haru plays Yorue, Yoko's daughter, and Yoshida Yo plays Ayako, Shiraishi Kensuke's wife and Mirei's mother. Directed by Kishi Nobuyuki ('Positive,' 'Ah, Wilderness'), with a screenplay by Mukai Kosuke ('The Role of a Fool,' 'A Man').
