The fifth episode of the "Final Chapter" series, which began in 2017 as an OVA work of Girls und Panzer, originally broadcast as an original TV anime from 2012 to 2013 and later gaining popularity through OVAs, theatrical anime, and spin-off anime. Set in a world where "tankery" is considered a maidenly accomplishment alongside flower arranging and tea ceremony, it depicts the growth and bonds of uniquely individual high school girls who devote their youth to tankery. So that Momo Kawashima, who faces the danger of being held back a year, can advance to university through an AO entrance exam, Oarai Girls High School decides to enter the winter national high school tankery tournament, the "Winter Infinite Track Cup," with her installed as captain. Having won their fierce semifinal match and advanced to the final, their last opponent is decided to be St. Gloriana Girls College, led by Darjeeling. In St. Gloriana's formation is Alisa Shimada, who transferred in hoping for a rematch with Miho Nishizumi. With each of their unyielding feelings in their hearts, the final battle with each other's pride on the line begins. Continuing from the previous series, directed by Tsutomu Mizushima (Another, Squid Girl), screenplay by Reiko Yoshida (K-On!), and original character design by Humikane Shimada (Strike Witches).
