A film adaptation of the bestselling novel 'A Survey About the Mouth' by author Senkin, who sparked the mockumentary horror boom with 'About a Certain Place in the Kinki Region.' Published in 2024, the palm-sized, 60-page story became a huge sensation on social media for delivering a solid scare in such a short format. Directed by Takashi Shimizu of the 'Ju-On' series, it marks Rihito Itagaki's first solo lead role in a live-action film. A group of university students hear a rumor about a 'cursed tree' in a cemetery known as a haunted spot and visit it for a test of courage. The next day, one of the group members mysteriously disappears. Since then, inexplicable phenomena begin to occur around the students who visited the cemetery, and they are gradually driven into a corner. Guided by the baffling testimonies of the five students, a terrifying truth emerges. Rihito Itagaki plays Shota Murai, one of the university students. The cast also includes Keito Tsuna as Tatsuya, Ai Yoshikawa as An, MOMONA (ME:I) as Mirei, Shuto Mori (BUDDiiS) as Horita, a student who visits the cemetery for fun, Tomoki Nishiyama (TAGRIGHT) as Kawase, who is forcibly taken to the cemetery by Horita, Shido Nakamura as Detective Kusabe, who pursues the missing student, and Tokio Emoto as journalist Nishi.
