俳優だけでなく、脚本家、映画監督としても活躍する佐藤二朗が、初めて漫画原作を手がけたサイコバイオレンス「名無し」を、佐藤の主演・脚本、「悪い夏」の城定秀夫のメガホンで映画化。 昼下がりのファミレスで、残忍な殺人事件が発生する。防犯カメラには、犯人と思われる坊主頭の中年男が映っていたが、男の手には凶器のようなものはない。男が近づき、軽く接触するだけで人が血を吹き出して倒れていくという異様な光景が記録されていた。捜査を進める警察は、坊主頭の男が11年前に万引きの疑いで調書を取られた「山田太郎」と同一人物であることを突き止める。山田の自宅住所に急行した捜査員が目にしたものは、腐敗した女性の遺体だった。 主人公である連続殺人犯・山田役を佐藤が演じ、身寄りも名前もなかった少年期の「山田」の名付け親となる巡査・照夫役を丸山隆平、山田と同じ児童養護施設で育ち共に暮らしていた山田花子役をMEGUMI、そして山田を止めるべく奔走する刑事・国枝役を佐々木蔵之介がそれぞれ演じる。

A film adaptation of the psycho-violent manga "Nanashi" by Sato Jiro—who is active not only as an actor but also as a screenwriter and film director—marking his first work based on a manga. Sato stars and wrote the script, with Hideo Shijo of "Bad Summer" directing. A brutal murder occurs at a family restaurant in the afternoon. Security cameras capture a bald middle-aged man who appears to be the culprit, but he holds no weapon. The footage records the bizarre sight of people spurting blood and collapsing just from the man approaching and lightly touching them. Investigating police identify the bald man as "Taro Yamada," who was questioned for shoplifting 11 years earlier. When investigators rush to Yamada's home address, they find a decomposed female corpse. Sato plays the protagonist, serial killer Yamada. Takaya Kamikawa plays Teruo, the patrol officer who becomes the namesake for the nameless orphaned young Yamada. MEGUMI plays Hanako Yamada, who grew up with Yamada in the same children's home and lives with him. Kuroudo Yashima plays Detective Kunieda, who works tirelessly to stop Yamada.
