「ミッシング」「空白」「ヒメアノ～ル」の𠮷田恵輔が監督・脚本を手がけ、過去に囚われたまま大人になった2人の青年と、彼らの運命を狂わせていく「メンター（助言者）」の存在を描いた人間ドラマ。 ある日、龍之介と拓海という2人の少年の無邪気な花火遊びが、アパート火災を引き起こした。アパートは全焼し、巻き込まれた住人の埜本は妻子を失い自身も全身に火傷を負った。その日を境に、龍之介と拓海の時間は止まってしまう。15年後、龍之介は罪の意識に蓋をし、アーチェリーのオリンピック日本代表候補として前に進もうとしていた。その一方で、拓海は罪の記憶から抜け出せず、陰鬱な日々を過ごしていた。そんな2人の前に、埜本が突然姿を現す。2人に恨みの言葉をぶつけることもなく優しく接する埜本に、龍之介はどこか違和感を抱き、拓海は救いの光を見いだす。やがて埜本は、拓海にとって心の拠りどころとなるメンターのような存在となっていく。 「ヤクザと家族 The Family」「月」などの磯村勇斗が龍之介役、アイドルグループ「Aぇ！ group」のメンバーで本作が個人として初の映画主演となる末澤誠也が拓海役で主演を務め、物語の鍵を握るメンターの埜本役で綾野剛が共演。
A human drama directed and written by Keisuke Yoshida of "Missing," "Blank," and "Himeanole," depicting two young men who grew up trapped by their past and the "mentor" figure who sends their fates spiraling. One day, two boys named Ryunosuke and Takumi's innocent fireworks play causes an apartment fire. The apartment burns to the ground, and a resident caught in the blaze, Nomoto, loses his wife and child and suffers burns over his entire body. From that day on, time stops for Ryunosuke and Takumi. Fifteen years later, Ryunosuke has sealed away his guilt and is trying to move forward as a candidate for Japan's Olympic archery team. Takumi, meanwhile, cannot escape the memory of his sin and lives out gloomy days. Suddenly, Nomoto appears before the two. Ryunosuke feels a sense of unease at Nomoto's gentle treatment of them, without ever hurling words of resentment, while Takumi finds a glimmer of salvation. Eventually, Nomoto becomes a mentor-like figure and emotional anchor for Takumi. Hayato Isomura of "Yakuza and the Family" and "Moon" plays Ryunosuke, and Seiya Suezawa, a member of the idol group "Ae! group" making his first solo film lead, plays Takumi, with Go Ayano co-starring as the mentor Nomoto, who holds the key to the story.
