高齢の母親が亡くなったことから、それまで仲の良かった家族に巻き起こる遺産相続をめぐるトラブルをユーモラスに描いたドラマ。 母親の死により悲しみに暮れる鈴木家の人々。やがて母親の遺産をめぐり、実家を処分して売却したお金を分配しようと主張する長女と次女、跡継ぎを理由に土地家屋は自分たちのものと主張する弟夫婦、さらに亡き長男の未亡人も加わり、仲が良かった親族関係がこじれていく。後から見つかった母親の遺言書にも異議が出る始末で、家族間の関係はさらに悪化。ついには裁判沙汰にまで発展してしまうが……。 主⼈公の⻑⼥・礼⼦役を⼤塚寧々、次⼥・聡美役を有森也実、亡き⻑男の嫁・早苗役を中⼭忍が演じるほか、法的⽴場から相続のアドバイスをするコンサルタント役を松本明⼦、礼⼦の夫・誠⼀役を川瀬陽太がそれぞれ演じる。監督・脚本は、介護現場の現実を描いた「ケアニン」シリーズの脚本を手がけた藤村磨実也。

A humorous drama about the inheritance disputes that erupt within a once-close family after the death of their elderly mother. The Suzuki family mourns the loss of their mother, but soon, arguments break out over her estate: the eldest and second daughters insist on selling the family home and splitting the proceeds, the younger brother and his wife claim the land and house as their inheritance as the family successor, and the widow of the deceased eldest son joins the fray, souring their previously warm relationships. When a later-discovered will surfaces, objections arise, worsening the rifts. The conflict escalates to the point of litigation, but... Nene Otsuka plays the eldest daughter Reiko, Yami Yumiko plays the second daughter Satomi, and Shinobu Nakayama plays Sanae, the widow of the late eldest son. Akiko Matsumoto takes on the role of a consultant offering inheritance advice from a legal standpoint, while Yota Kawase plays Reiko's husband Seiichi. The film is directed and written by Fujimura Mamiya, known for scripting the 'Care Nin' series, which depicted the realities of nursing care.
