第2次世界大戦末期に国境防衛を目的に北海道根室市の海岸に建造され、戦後も取り壊されることなく現存している戦争遺跡「トーチカ群」。その闇に引き寄せられるように偶然の出会いを果たした男女が織りなすドラマを、ほぼワンロケーションという空間の中で描いた異色作。 日本最東端に位置するロシア国境の町、北海道・根室。冬枯れの荒野に、第2次世界大戦時に作られ、今は風化したトーチカが点在している。そんなトーチカのひとつに見入っているひとりの男と、男の様子をトーチカの中から偶然見ていた女がいた。やがて男の口から語られて記憶に導かれ、2人は隠された時間をさかのぼっていく。 主演は「犬猫」の藤田陽子と「ラスト サムライ」の菅田俊。監督は北海道出身の松村浩行。2008年・第22回東京国際映画祭「日本映画・ある視点」部門に出品。2009年に劇場公開され、2026年にリバイバル公開。

A very good film shot by Y. Moroz with 3 pretty girls Dasha Moroz, Anna Ukolova and Vika Isakova. The film is about life of several tarts who live on outskirts of ukrainian provincial town Makeevka. We see all grisly reality of this country, the cruel rules of survival on streets of Makeevka (home city of one of the girls) and Moskow ghettos, it's inhuman customs and cops plunged in crime up to their ears.. This movie is one of the best modern russian action movies, and one of few. And this movie is also a good one for getting a short course of new modern russia's life that is for majority of people not so different since the time of changes
