The first film adaptation in 20 years of the hit 1976 series "Aa!! Hana no Ōendan." At the Minami Kawachi University cheerleading squad, an annual alumni gathering is planned, but they discover a hole in their precious team flag. The members hurriedly take part-time jobs to earn repair money, but the workplace is run by yakuza who refuse to pay and threaten them. However, Sekidō Aota appears and beats the yakuza to a pulp. Ken'ichi Nagira reprises his role as senior Yakutsuji from the previous series, and Junko Miyashita also appears.
