初長編作品「(Instrumental)」が劇場公開された新鋭・宮坂一輝監督が手がけた作品で、気候変動に対するリアクションの違いからすれ違っていく恋人たちの姿を通じて、若者の本音を描き出した。インディーズ映画界の登竜門でもある第18回田辺・弁慶映画祭で俳優賞を受賞した。 私立大学社会学部3年の申田大樹は、同じ学部の同期である雪川翠と付き合っている。ある夏の日、2人は気候変動をテーマにした現代アートの展覧会を訪れる。そこに込められたメッセージを大樹は淡々と受け止めていたが、一方の翠はひどくショックを受け、動揺する。やがて翠は大学生活動家の森野美玖が率いる環境学生団体「CAFF（Climate Action For Future）」の活動に参加するようになる。戸惑いつつも翠の活動を見守っていた大樹だったが、お互いの考え方の違いが浮き彫りになるにつれ、次第に2人はすれ違っていく。 第18回田辺・弁慶映画祭では、出演の山下諒、二田絢乃、さいとうなりのアンサンブル演技に対して俳優賞が送られた。田辺・弁慶映画祭の受賞作品を上映する「田辺・弁慶映画祭セレクション2024」（24年5月9日～6月5日＝テアトル新宿／2024年6月20日～26日＝テアトル梅田）で劇場上映。

A new era youth romance film for all those who carry the burden of 'not being able to understand each other.' The latest work from up-and-coming director Kazuki Miyasaka, who made his theatrical feature debut with '(Instrumental),' is a love story depicting the conflicts of young people living in the modern age. The cast includes Ryo Yamashita, Ayano Nita, and Nari Saito, who each won the Actor Award at the 18th Tanabe Benkei Film Festival for this film, as well as rising young actors such as Haruto Yoshida and Koto Sekiguchi. A new masterpiece of youth romance cinema that reflects the era of 'now' has been born.
