世界的ミュージシャンのチャーリー・XCXの発案で、本人が主演を務め、トップスターと業界人たちが巻き起こす波乱に満ちたショービジネスの裏側を描いた作品。 2024年、アルバム「brat（ブラット）」で世界を熱狂させ、「ブラット・サマー」と呼ばれる社会現象を巻き起こして一躍時代のアイコンとなったポップスターのチャーリー・XCX。大胆で媚びない彼女は、日々自分らしさを追い求めていた。しかし、音楽レーベルやマネージャー、SNS担当者は「ブラット・サマー・フォーエバー」を合言葉に、ムーブメントを無理やり延命させようとし、Amazonの出資も背景にライブ演出やプロモーションへ介入。チャーリーをベタベタなスター像へと押し込めていく。多忙を極めたチャーリーは、ライブまであと数日というタイミングでイビサ島へバカンスに出てしまい、現場は混乱を極めていく。 監督はビリー・アイリッシュなどのミュージックビデオを手がけるエイダン・ザミリ。共演にはアレクサンダー・スカルスガルド、ロザンナ・アークエット、カイリー・ジェンナーらが名を連ねる。

A film conceived by global musician Charli XCX, who also stars, depicting the turbulent behind-the-scenes world of show business involving top stars and industry insiders. In 2024, pop star Charli XCX became a global sensation with her album "brat," sparking a social phenomenon called "Brat Summer" and becoming an icon of the era. Bold and unapologetic, she daily pursues her authentic self. However, her music label, manager, and social media handlers, using the slogan "Brat Summer Forever," try to forcibly prolong the movement, intervening in live performances and promotions with backing from Amazon, pushing Charli into a clichéd star image. Overwhelmed by her busy schedule, Charli escapes to Ibiza for a vacation just days before a live show, throwing the production into chaos. Directed by Aidan Zamiri, who has directed music videos for Billie Eilish and others. The cast includes Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, and Kylie Jenner.
