霊に取り憑かれた飼い主を守ろうとする犬の奮闘を、全編を犬の視点から描いた異色のホラー。 飼い主のトッドとアパートで暮らすレトリバー犬のインディ。近頃トッドは体調が悪く、ある日吐血し、偶然アパートを訪れた妹ヴェラにより病院へ運び込まれる。退院した彼はインディを連れ、亡き祖父の家に移り住む。その家は祖父が謎の死を遂げて以来、空き家になっていた。トッドは隣人から予備の発電機を借り、祖父が映っている昔のホームビデオを見て過ごすが、インディは家の中に異変を感じ取る。トッドはヴェラとの電話で、祖父とこの家は呪われているのではないかと話す。その内容は理解できなくとも、インディは何かがおかしいと感じ、不気味な物音を聞き、家の隅から漂ってくる影に気づく。やがて邪悪な存在がトッドの容態を悪化させ、インディは正体不明の何かから必死に彼を守ろうとするが……。 本作が長編デビューとなるベン・レオンバーグ監督が、3年におよぶ制作期間を経て完成させた。ノバ・スコシア・ダック・トーリング・レトリバーのインディが、2025年のSXSW（サウス・バイ・サウスウエスト映画祭）にて最優秀犬演技賞を受賞、さらに2026年のアストラ映画賞「ホラー／スリラー部門」では動物俳優が最優秀演技賞を初受賞する快挙を成し遂げた。

Indie is a retriever dog living with his owner Todd in an apartment. Recently, Todd's health has been poor, and one day he vomits blood. Todd's sister Vera, who happens to visit the apartment, rushes him to the hospital. After being discharged, Todd takes Indie and moves into his grandfather's house, which has been vacant since his grandfather's mysterious death. Todd borrows a backup generator from a neighbor and spends his time with a little light and watching old home videos of his grandfather, but Indie senses something strange in the house.
