空に浮かぶ熱気球の中という逃げ場のない空間を舞台に、自然の脅威と人間同士の対立をを描いたシチュエーションサバイバルスリラー。 敏腕CEOのザックは、流産の悲しみを抱える妻エミーとの関係を修復するため、夫婦でイタリア・ドロミーティ山脈を横断する熱気球ツアーに参加する。そこへ謎の女性ジュリアが加わり、3人の乗客を乗せた熱気球での飛行が始まるが、上空でジュリアが突然「前日にザックと密会した」とザックの不貞を暴露する。ザックは否定するが疑念が渦巻き、ジュリアは突然ナイフを突きつけてくる。争いの最中に操縦士が転落し、気球は制御不能に陥ってしまう。無線も途絶え、酸素の薄い高度1万6000フィートに達した気球は乱気流や暴風にさらされ、3人は逃げ場のない空中で極限の選択を迫られていく。 監督は「エア・ロック　海底緊急避難所」のクラウディオ・ファエ、脚本は「エア・ロック　海底緊急避難所」「海底47m」などで脚本や製作を担当してきたアンディ・メイソン。出演はエミー役に「移動都市　モータル・エンジン」のヘラ・ヒルマー、ザック役に「戦火の馬」のジェレミー・アーバイン、ジュリア役に「007 慰めの報酬」のボンドガールとして知られるオルガ・キュリレンコ。

A situational survival thriller set in the inescapable space of a floating hot air balloon, depicting the threats of nature and human conflict. To repair his relationship with his wife Amy, who is grieving a miscarriage, ambitious CEO Zach joins a hot air balloon tour crossing the Italian Dolomites with her. A mysterious woman named Julia joins them, and the flight with the three passengers begins. But high in the sky, Julia suddenly reveals that she had a secret meeting with Zach the previous day, accusing him of infidelity. Zach denies it, but suspicion swirls, and Julia suddenly pulls a knife. During the struggle, the pilot falls out, and the balloon goes out of control. With the radio dead and the balloon reaching an oxygen-thin altitude of 16,000 feet, battered by turbulence and storms, the three are forced into extreme choices with no escape. Directed by Claudio Fae of 'Air Lock: Underwater Emergency Shelter,' with a screenplay by Andy Mason, who wrote and produced 'Air Lock: Underwater Emergency Shelter' and '47 Meters Down.' The cast includes Hera Hilmar of 'Mortal Engines' as Amy, Jeremy Irvine of 'War Horse' as Zach, and Olga Kurylenko, known as a Bond girl from 'Quantum of Solace,' as Julia.
