猟奇殺人事件を背景に、時に人を癒やし、時に人を壊す不思議な天の声「POCA PON（ポカポン）」と、温かさと不穏が同居するある家族の日常を描いた新感覚のドラマ。 13歳の健太と10歳の弟・祐二、母親の朝子の3人は、ある地方都市の団地で暮らしている。健太は、将来少しでも母と弟にましな生活を送らせたいと必死で勉強している。そんな彼の耳に、時折どこからともなく「ポカポン」という音とも声ともつかない、不思議でどこか懐かしいメロディが響く。しかしそれが何だったのか、思い出すことはできない。一方、母の朝子は勉強に励む健太に「そんなことは無駄だ。今を楽しんで遊べ」と言う。互いを思いやりながらも、どこかですれ違う親子。そんな家族を、団地の管理人・駿一は何かと気にかけていた。駿一には「不思議な力」があり、健太は彼に強い興味を抱く。そんなある日、かつて社会を震撼させた猟奇殺人犯がこの団地に住んでいるという噂が流れ……。 監督・脚本は「横須賀綺譚」の大塚信一。出演は「サバカン SABAKAN」「海辺へ行く道」と話題作への出演が続く原田琥之佑のほか、尾関伸次、菜葉菜、川瀬陽太、山崎ハコら実力派俳優が多数顔をそろえる。

Living in poverty, bothered by noisy neighbors. Frustrated with an absurd reality, middle school student Kenta struggles to support his mother Asako and younger brother Yuji. And then there's the mysterious "pokapon" sound echoing around him. Watching over this family quietly is the housing complex manager, Shunichi.
