93年から94年にかけて「ビッグスピリッツ」誌で連載された松本大洋原作の人気漫画を「アニマトリックス」ほかハリウッドでVFXスペシャリストとして活躍するマイケル・アリアス監督がアニメ映画化。義理と人情の“宝町”を舞台に、縦横無尽に飛び回る2人の少年クロとシロの活躍を描く。声の出演は、イーストウッド監督作「硫黄島からの手紙」で海外デビューを果たした二宮和也と「フラガール」の蒼井優。

Based on the popular manga by Taiyo Matsumoto serialized in 'Big Spirits' magazine from 1993 to 1994, this anime film adaptation is directed by Michael Arias, a VFX specialist active in Hollywood known for 'The Animatrix'. Set in the 'Treasure Town' of duty and human emotion, it depicts the exploits of two boys, Kuro and Shiro, who fly freely through the city. The voice cast includes Kazunari Ninomiya, who made his overseas debut in Clint Eastwood's 'Letters from Iwo Jima', and Yu Aoi from 'Hula Girls'.
