A musical drama starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson in their first collaboration, based on the true story of a married couple who performed as a tribute band to American national singer Neil Diamond. Mike, who once dreamed of a music career, now can only get on stage by imitating someone else's singing, hitting rock bottom in life. One day, he meets Claire, a woman with the same passion, and they form a tribute band to their beloved Neil Diamond. Starting from a small garage, their voices gradually capture the hearts of the people in their town. But then, a sudden tragedy strikes them. Jackman and Hudson deliver powerful performances of Neil Diamond's classic songs, including 'Sweet Caroline.' The cast includes Michael Imperioli from 'The Sopranos,' Ella Anderson from 'The Glass Castle,' and singer-songwriter King Princess. Based on the 2008 documentary of the same name, Craig Brewer, director of 'Hustle & Flow,' wrote and directed the film. Hudson was nominated for Best Actress at the 98th Academy Awards.
