コミックス累計発行部数650万分を突破した桜井のりおによる人気コミックを原作に、中二病の中学生・市川京太郎と天真爛漫な美少女・山田杏奈が織りなす初恋の行方を描いたテレビアニメ「僕の心のヤバイやつ」の劇場版。2023年放送の第1期と24年放送の第2期を再編集したストーリーに加え、第2期のその後の物語となる“京太郎の姉・香菜のライブシーン”や“市川と山田のあの瞬間”を新たに映像化する。 「殺人大百科」や「解剖図」を愛読する中二病こじらせ男子の中学生・市川京太郎は、クラスの人気者である山田杏奈とひょんなことから交流を持つようになる。図書室でおにぎりを食べはじめたり、鼻歌を歌ったり、急接近してきたりと、予測不能な山田の言動に戸惑いながらも、いつしか市川の脳内は山田のことでいっぱいになってしまう。一方の山田も市川と話すうちに、次第に彼のことが気になるようになる。初めて「好き」という気持ちを知ったふたりは、すれ違いも不器用な想いも乗り越えて、ゆっくりと距離を縮めていく。 「からかい上手の高木さん」の赤城博昭が総監督、「響け！ユーフォニアム」の花田十輝が脚本、「チェンソーマン」の牛尾憲輔が音楽を担当。

A theatrical film adaptation of the popular manga by Norio Sakurai, which has sold over 6.5 million copies, depicting the first love story between a middle schooler with chuunibyou, Kyotaro Ichikawa, and a pure-hearted beautiful girl, Anna Yamada. It re-edits the story from the first season aired in 2023 and the second season in 2024, and newly visualizes the story after the second season, including 'Kyotaro's sister Kana's live scene' and 'that moment between Ichikawa and Yamada.' Kyotaro Ichikawa, a middle school boy with a severe case of chuunibyou who loves reading 'The Encyclopedia of Murder' and 'Anatomical Charts,' comes to interact with Anna Yamada, the popular girl in his class, by chance. He is bewildered by Yamada's unpredictable actions, like starting to eat rice balls in the library, humming, and suddenly getting close, but before he knows it, his mind is filled with thoughts of Yamada. Meanwhile, Yamada also gradually becomes interested in him as she talks with Ichikawa. The two, who learn what 'like' means for the first time, overcome misunderstandings and clumsy feelings, slowly growing closer. Directed by Akihiro Akada of 'Teasing Master Takagi-san' as chief director, with Jukki Hanada of 'Hibike! Euphonium' on script, and Kensuke Ushio of 'Chainsaw Man' on music.
