「泳ぎすぎた夜」「息を殺して」などで国際的にも注目を集める映画監督の五十嵐耕平が、東京造形大学在学中にメガホンをとった初長編作品。 若者の天野と稲葉は同棲しているが、稲葉が仕事を失っていたために生活は厳しい。それでも稲葉は仕事をせず、夜になれば外を出歩き、友人に会っておごってもらったり、タバコ売りに詩を教わったりしている。そんな稲葉に対して天野は何も言わず、ただ見守っている。そんなある時、稲葉は友人に「病院で良い仕事がある」と聞かされるが……。 五十嵐監督の長編作品「SUPER HAPPY FOREVER」の公開にあわせた「五十嵐耕平監督特集　青春的故事」（2024年9月20日～、シモキタ-エキマエ-シネマ「K2」）にて劇場初公開。

The first feature film directed by Kohei Igarashi, a filmmaker gaining international attention for works like "Oyogisugita Yoru" and "Ikoi no Iki," made while he was a student at Tokyo Zokei University. Young couple Amano and Inaba live together, but life is tough because Inaba has lost his job. Still, Inaba doesn't work, and at night he goes out, meeting friends who treat him, or learning poetry from a cigarette seller. Amano says nothing to Inaba about this, simply watching over him. Then one day, Inaba hears from a friend about "a good job at the hospital"... The film received its theatrical premiere at the "Kohei Igarashi Director Retrospective: Seishun-teki Koto" (from September 20, 2024, at Shimokita-Ekimae-Cinema K2), held in conjunction with the release of Igarashi's feature "SUPER HAPPY FOREVER."
