An unconventional mystery film starring Hugh Jackman, depicting sheep whose beloved owner is murdered as they struggle to find the culprit. In a peaceful English countryside town, shepherd George lives alone surrounded by his beloved sheep. He reads detective novels to them every night, and the sheep actually understand the stories and look forward to this time. One day, George is found dead. The sheep refuse to believe it was an accident and, led by their smartest leader Lily, launch an investigation. As they follow clues, they discover George had a huge inheritance. Determined to avenge their beloved George, the sheep race to find the killer. Hugh Jackman plays the victimized shepherd George, with Oscar-winning actress Emma Thompson, Nicholas Galitzine from "The Idea of You," and Nicholas Braun from the TV series "Succession" co-starring. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Patrick Stewart, and Bryan Cranston voice the sheep. Based on the 2005 bestselling novel of the same name by German author Leonie Swann, directed by Kyle Balda of the "Minions" series.
