A psychological thriller set in a care home that should be a place of peace, depicting elderly residents driven into a nightmare with no escape by a cruel resident who dominates them. Stefan Mortensen, a principled and proud judge who has worked for years upholding the law, is forced into a wheelchair by illness and enters a suburban care home. There, he encounters the evil resident Dave Creeley, who uses a finger puppet named 'Jenny Pen' for doll therapy to dominate the elderly through insidious bullying. Stefan, opposing him, becomes a target, and Dave's unreasonable, humiliating harassment escalates. Having fought for justice all his life, Stefan throws himself into one final, brutal battle. John Lithgow ('Conclave') plays the dominating Dave, and Geoffrey Rush ('The King's Speech') plays the former judge Stefan who confronts him. Both won Best Actor awards together at the 57th Sitges Film Festival in 2024. Paul Lewis, the puppet creator behind 'M3GAN', designed Jenny Pen.
