自由と混乱が交錯する統一前夜の東ドイツを舞台に描いた社会派コメディ。 1990年の夏、東ドイツで暮らす幼なじみのマーレン、ロベルト、フォルカーは、旧体制下で廃棄されるはずだった大量の紙幣が残された地下坑道を発見する。貨幣価値を失った金を手にした彼らは、仲間たちと協力して物質と交換する独自の流通網を築き上げていく。西側資本主義に小さな反旗を翻すその行動は、やがて大きな冒険へと発展していく。 「落下の解剖学」「関心領域」のザンドラ・ヒュラーがマーレン、「マトリックス　レザレクションズ」のマックス・リーメルトがロベルト、「アイヒマンを追え！　ナチスがもっとも畏れた男」のロナルト・ツェアフェルトがフォルカーを演じた。監督・脚本は、「クリスチーネ・F」の主演や「ネレ＆キャプテン　壁をこえて」の脚本などで知られるナーチャ・ブルンクホルスト。日本では、ザンドラ・ヒュラーの出演作を集めた特集上映企画「特集　ザンドラ・ヒュラー　変幻する＜わたし＞のかたち」（2025年10月3日～、YEBISU GARDEN CINEMA）にて「二対一　東ドイツ通貨統一の夏に発見した大切なこと」のタイトルで劇場初公開。2026年9月には「ハルバーシュタットの埋蔵金」の邦題で劇場公開。

A social comedy set in East Germany on the eve of reunification, where freedom and chaos intermingle. In the summer of 1990, childhood friends Maren, Robert, and Volker, living in East Germany, discover an underground tunnel filled with vast amounts of banknotes that were supposed to be discarded under the old regime. With this now-worthless currency in hand, they work with their friends to build their own distribution network, exchanging the money for goods. Their act of small rebellion against Western capitalism eventually develops into a grand adventure. Sandra Hüller ("Anatomy of a Fall," "The Zone of Interest") plays Maren, Max Riemelt ("The Matrix Resurrections") plays Robert, and Ronald Zehrfeld ("The People vs. Fritz Bauer") plays Volker. The director and screenwriter is Natja Brunckhorst, known for starring in "Christiane F." and writing "Nelly & Nadine" and "Beyond the Wall." In Japan, the film had its theatrical premiere under the title "Two Against One: The Precious Things Discovered in the Summer of East German Currency Unification" as part of the special screening series "Sandra Hüller: Shapes of the Transforming Self" (from October 3, 2025, at YEBISU GARDEN CINEMA). It will receive a theatrical release in September 2026 under the Japanese title "Halberstadt's Buried Treasure."
