長年連れ添ったレズビアンカップルが、パートナーの急死によってさまざまな問題に直面する姿を描いたドラマ。「ソク・ソク」でゲイカップルの老後問題を描いたレイ・ヨン監督が、同性愛に対する偏見が根強く残る香港の現状を見つめるとともに、深刻な住宅不足や就職難、経済格差といった社会問題も浮かび上がらせる。 60代のレズビアンカップル、パットとアンジーは、公私ともに順調で穏やかな日々を送っていた。しかしある時、パットが急死してしまう。アンジーはパットの親族とも親しくしていたが、葬儀の形式をめぐって意見が対立。さらに香港の法律に従い、親族であるパットの兄が彼女の遺産を相続することになる。それは、パットとの思い出が詰まったマンションを終の住処と考えていたアンジーにとって、到底受け入れられない現実だった。一方、暮らし向きが厳しいパットの兄夫婦とその子どもたちも、それぞれの事情を抱え、葛藤していた。 2024年・第74回ベルリン国際映画祭で、優れたLGBT映画に与えられるテディ賞を受賞。第43回香港電影金像奨で作品賞ほか5部門にノミネートされるなど高い評価を得た。「ソク・ソク」で香港金像奨助演女優賞を受賞したパトラ・アウがアンジー役を演じ、本作では香港金像奨主演女優賞にノミネートされた。パット役は、約30年ぶりの銀幕出演となったマギー・リーが務めた。

A drama depicting a long-term lesbian couple facing various problems after one partner's sudden death. Director Ray Yeung, who previously explored the issues of elderly gay couples in "Suk Suk," turns his gaze to the current state of Hong Kong, where prejudice against homosexuality remains deeply rooted, while also highlighting social issues such as severe housing shortages, employment difficulties, and economic disparity. Pat and Angie, a lesbian couple in their 60s, are enjoying a stable and peaceful life both publicly and privately. However, Pat suddenly dies. Angie was close with Pat's relatives, but they clash over the funeral arrangements. Furthermore, under Hong Kong law, Pat's brother, as her relative, inherits her estate. This is an unacceptable reality for Angie, who considered the apartment, filled with memories of Pat, to be their final home. Meanwhile, Pat's financially struggling brother, his wife, and their children also grapple with their own circumstances. The film won the Teddy Award for outstanding LGBTQ cinema at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in 2024 and received high praise, including five nominations at the 43rd Hong Kong Film Awards, including Best Film. Patra Au, who won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for "Suk Suk," plays Angie, earning a Best Actress nomination for this film. Maggie Li, returning to the screen after about 30 years, plays Pat.
