Lucy, a matchmaker at a New York dating agency, is a professional at matching clients' high ideals and detailed conditions, and a materialist who judges love not only by emotion but also by asset value. Leading a busy, work-focused life, she receives a passionate approach from Harry, a wealthy investor she meets at the wedding of a couple she matched. Meanwhile, at the same reception, Lucy reunites with her ex-boyfriend John, who was working as a waiter. They had loved each other, but she couldn't endure the poor life with John, who was drifting between part-time jobs while pursuing his dream of becoming an actor. Lucy begins a relationship with Harry, who is perfect in family background, personality, and education, but her feelings for John, who hasn't given up on his dream, are rekindled. When a client gets involved in an incident, Lucy finds herself at a crossroads in both work and love.
