「ドライヴ」で国際的に高く評価されたニコラス・ウィンディング・レフン監督が、キャリア初期に祖国デンマークで手がけた犯罪ドラマ「プッシャー」3部作の完結編。シリーズを通して登場してきた麻薬王ミロの孤独と権力の衰退を描き出す。 コペンハーゲンの麻薬王ミロは愛娘の誕生日パーティの準備に追われる一方で、ヘロインの取引を進めていた。しかし手違いにより、彼の手に渡ったのはヘロインではなく大量のエクスタシーの錠剤だった。ヘロインの取引で稼いだ金で借金を返済しようとしていたミロは、仕方なく部下のムハンマドにエクスタシーをさばくよう命じるが、ムハンマドはエクスタシーとともに行方をくらませてしまう。追い詰められたミロは次第に狂気に飲み込まれ、思わぬ行動に出る。 前2作でミロを演じたズラッコ・ブリッチが引き続き同役を務めた。日本では前2作とあわせた3部作で2013年に劇場初公開。2026年5月には、特集上映「北欧の至宝　マッツ・ミケルセン生誕60周年祭」の特別企画として4Kデジタル修復版で3部作をリバイバル公開。

The concluding chapter of director Nicolas Winding Refn's crime drama "Pusher" trilogy, which he made in his native Denmark early in his career, before gaining international acclaim with "Drive." It depicts the loneliness and decline of power of Milo, the drug lord who appeared throughout the series. Copenhagen drug lord Milo is busy preparing for his beloved daughter's birthday party while also trying to close a heroin deal. However, due to a mix-up, what arrives is not heroin but a large quantity of ecstasy tablets. Milo, who had planned to use the heroin money to pay off his debts, reluctantly orders his subordinate Muhammad to sell the ecstasy, but Muhammad disappears along with the drugs. Cornered, Milo is gradually consumed by madness and takes unexpected action. Zlatko Buric, who played Milo in the previous two films, reprises the role. The trilogy was first released theatrically in Japan in 2013. In May 2026, the trilogy will be revived in 4K digitally restored versions as a special program within the "Nordic Treasure: Mads Mikkelsen 60th Birthday Festival."
