A human drama starring the acclaimed actor Ben Kingsley, humorously depicting a lonely elderly man who, after getting caught up in a bizarre commotion with his neighbors, rediscovers the joy of life. Milton, a 79-year-old man living in a small town in western Pennsylvania, continues to live alone despite his daughter Denise worrying about his early symptoms of dementia. One night, an unidentified flying object from the sky crashes into Milton's yard, shaking his peaceful daily life. When no one around him takes him seriously, Milton shares the secret of the flying object with his neighbors Sandy and Joyce, who are around his age and also witnessed it. The three, each carrying their own loneliness, rediscover the forgotten joys of life and face their futures. Harriet Sansom Harris ("The Bodybuilder") plays Sandy, Jane Curtin ("Coneheads") plays Joyce, and Zoe Winters (series "Succession") plays Milton's daughter Denise. The director is Mark Turtletaub, known as a producer for "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Loving."
