三十路前のモテない男・藤本幸世が、ある日突然、モテはじめたことから起こる騒動を描き、2010年にはTVドラマ化もされた人気コミックを実写映画化。主演はドラマ版に続き森山未來。ドラマ版から1年後を舞台に、原作者・久保ミツロウによるオリジナルストーリーが展開される。派遣社員を卒業し、ニュースサイトのライターとして正社員になった幸世に、ある日突然「第2のモテキ」が到来。新たに目の前に現れた女性たちと過去の女性たちとの間で揺れ動く幸世は……。幸世を取り巻く新たなヒロインたちを演じるのは長澤まさみ、麻生久美子、仲里依紗、真木よう子。監督はドラマ版の演出も手がけた大根仁。

One year after the whirlwind of romantic opportunities that came to the penniless and girlfriend-less Yukiyo Fujimoto—his 'Moteki' (sudden popularity with women)—his relationships with the four girls have ended. But new girls begin approaching him again, and a 'Second Moteki' is about to arrive.
