Set in Malaysia, this demon-combining exorcism gore horror film takes on the Islamic exorcism rites of the state religion and Southeast Asia's most enigmatic flower, the titan arum. A boy apprentice exorcist, who inherited spiritual powers from his mother, engages in a deadly struggle against the forbidden curse dwelling within the "corpse flower." Iqbal, raised under the wing of Norman, a Muslim exorcist, possesses rare spiritual abilities inherited from his mother Dina. One day, Dina is possessed and killed by an evil spirit while shielding Iqbal, who was targeted because of the strength of his powers. Grief-stricken, Iqbal resents his own overwhelming power, and his father Norman, worried about his son's future, seals away part of his abilities. Crawling toward the wounded family are a series of tragedies brought by the curse of the "corpse flower." Can Iqbal overcome his sorrow and exorcise a curse steeped in mystery and taboo?
